Every human being knows from conscience that there are two different groups of actions, two different groups of deeds going on around him. The first one of them is optional, i.e. happens with his own desire and will; and the second is obligatory, i.e. happens completely without his desire or will.

For example; his speech, silence, sitting down and standing up are among the deeds that fall into the first group; his heartbeat, growth, and his hair turning gray are among the ones that fall into the latter. In the first group, it is on us to want and on God to create. In other words, whatever we choose and decide with our small wills, God creates that thing with His supreme will. However, in the second group, our wills do not have the right to intervene. It is God, who both wills and creates. We are not responsible for the deeds that fall into this second group. Therefore, we are not questioned for our height, color, race, gender or for the age, we were born into.

By pondering on the purposeful and most beautiful organization of every system in the Universe and of every organ in the human body, every one who uses his brains correctly will come to the conclusion: Therefore, I must utilize my quality of will-power in accordance with the acceptance of God as well as my other qualities of sight and hearing. Only by this way, can I give its due and benefit from it in the best way.

The ones who submit their wills to the universal will of God again with their own wills enter the place of eternal bliss, the Paradise. However, the ones who use this great capital for the sake of their selves head to the place of eternal pain.

At this point, such a question may come to the mind: How can we know the divine will and so suit our actions and behaviors to it?

The deeds and behaviors God is pleased with are explained to humankind through prophets and scriptures. However, no compulsion is applied. In other words, though man is brought to this world without his own will, he is set free to choose between the options of paradise and hell for his eternal travel.

Therefore, man can choose the paradise out of the places of Hereafter with the correct use of his small will. God has drawn the ways to this place of bliss with His divine will: Faith, worship, avoidance of sins, and adherence to the right path

However, He did not compel man to obey this will. In the Glorious Quran, it is stated: Let there be no compulsion in religion. (Al-Baqarah Surah, 2:256), which is the clearest expression of the divine-will about this point. So, man will succeed if he uses his will on the right path and in the circle of halal-that which is legitimate in Islam. Otherwise, his loss will be too big.
