The Details of the Question
I think it´s normal and it´s part of growing our
relationship more but I heard it´s a sin in Islam.
Should I keep my thoughts inside me instead and
never speak up for my rights? The Answer
Dear Brother / Sister,
It is not sin for a person to express his/her ideas to his/her parents. Even it is not sin to express an opposing view. But it is sin to have an argument that will break their heart. This is religiously forbidden. Thus our religion Islam tells us not to obey and perform the orders of parents that are haram.
